I cannot get the line-in working on my Dell Inspiron 600M

Nov 20, 2005 6:47PM PST

I'd like to play local radio through my laptop's speakers. The operating system is XP w/ Media Edition.
1.7 clock speed, 1.5 gigs of ram, 80 gig hard drive.
The sound works fine for CDs,DVDs and from the internet. If anyone has info on enabling the line-in
I'love to hear it. Thanks for any replies. Aloha, Bob

Have you checked your volume settings? Right click the volume control on the taskbar and make sure the line in volume is up and not set on mute.

Dell thinks it's a software problem and I have searched around but with no luck. Aloha, Bob
