Question

I can't seem to get Java to work...please help!!

by purrt2 / May 30, 2012 12:41 PM PDT

I have played pogo games for 11 years, and have never really had any problems. A week and half ago, I suddenly couldn't load any of the games. I've contacted EA games several times and nothing seems to be working. I finally went to the java site tonight, and it isn't reading my java...yes, it's the latest version. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it several times. Here is everything I've done to try to solve the issue:

Cleared browser and java caches
Tried to play on Firefox and Chrome...I typically use IE
I followed the link EA sent me to update my drivers tonight, and it didn't help either.
I have uninstalled Flash and Java several times.
I restored default settings in the security tab of internet options.
I've tried running it with both the firewall and AVG off.
I ran Ccleaner
I ran a disk clean up and defrag.

I'm at a loss now. The weird thing is that I played a game on there earlier in the day, and it was working fine. I'd really appreciate any help. I actually pay for pogo, that's why I'm so frustrated by all of this.

One of EA reps said my processor may not work for pogo, but I've had this laptop for a year and half and have not had any problems...I just don't see how that can be the problem. Thank you for any help you can offer!!!

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
