I can't get my TV to go to channel 3

Mar 9, 2009 6:27AM PDT

Samsung - 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV

My cable will not work because I can't get my TV to go to channel 3 or any other channel. No matter what i do it just seems to not work. It lets me change to cable 3, cable 4 and change to different sources, but i cant figure out how to change it so its on channel 3 - does anyone have any advice?

Cable 3 is channel 3. Cable just indicates which tuner it is on, air (for antenna) or cable.

i walked through support with my local (cox) cable provider they keep telling me the TV must not be on channel 3 or 4 i tell them it is and when i say its says cable 3 they say that does not mean the TV is on channel 3. either way i cant get cable TV to show up, my Internet works fine, and i have tried to reset everything. I think its a cable box issue not a TV issues but support and the cable company ********. They say if the TV is showing "snow" then its not a cable issue it a TV issue. I'm lost.

Are you using a coaxial cable or composite (red, white and yellow) or component or HDMI?
