I can't guess what's up. Try other hotspots first and find out more about this one that doesn't work. Some folk use MAC filtering or hide the SSID or set the channel to something we can't use. There is no one thing.

Ipads can and I have another laptop connected to it. I have tried reseting the phone to factory and it didn't make any difference
