very cool and hot(sorry). I guessed it might be about making a mag glass. glad it was a lucky guess. good info. will check the other sites later. as we never know when we might need it.

I do not think it was irrelevant. information is always important.

I recall a time when it took me 7 hours to get home due to a surprise storm, and that was in town.

The family was lucky in that there was a short break in the clouds so the 'copter could spot the dad waving and see the "help' layed out with twigs.

A happy ending to what could have been a tragedy. (Also one of the few good news reports.)

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
