Question

I can get Access Point signal from 12 floors away

Craziest thing I ever seen.
I extended my internet via ethernet 12 floors away, Yes I ran cat5e 12 floors, 100m cat5e, then connected an Access Point (wifi name Jingle)
I am on 10th floor and Access Point is on 22nd.

Crazy thing is I can get Jingle(22nd floor AP) from 10th floor. That's 12 floors away Jingle wifi is working.
Is this possible? I am seeing it so possible but how can this be?
Any explanations?

I don;t know if this has anything to do but I used about 70m cat5e, so 25m+ is wrapped next to ethernet switch in 10th floor,
Could this wrapped cat5e sending Jingle wifi to 10th floor?
I wouldn;t think so but who knows?

I am sorry but is this a joke to you? Anything is possible? Maybe it's aliens? Spirits?
Let's get back on earth and deal in reality.

As one can imagine, walls and floors are concrete. so we are looking at 90% concrete in 12 floor difference,
Also wifi don't like travel vertically. Not even one floor, I tried share wifi one floor above, not good.

Only thing I can imagine is somehow ethernet cable is involved since that's only connection between 10th and 22nd floor. Maybe ethernet work like antenna? sending 22nd AP wifi back to 10th via ethernet?
OR wrapped 25m+ cat5e is creating antenna like behavior?

No joke.

Long ago I wrote code for a research facility that mapped antenna patterns. There's some RF path. Now what it is would take sleuthing and maybe some high end gear but no aliens.
