by DebiJoy / July 3, 2006 8:37 AM PDT

When I log on to and go into the fourms. The signatures just are froze. But when I view them at work, they move. The same wit my AIM it moves at work but does not even show the picture. I think I might be missing a plug in. But not for sure.

I have a gateway computer at home. Im at work right now and just found your website. If there is any thing you guys can do please help me out.

Tunes, A Few Things To Do...
by Grif Thomas Forum moderator / July 3, 2006 9:25 AM PDT

First, visit the Macromedia links below and install newest versions of both Shockwave and Flash:

Next, follow the instructions in the link below to make sure you have Java and the newest script engine installed. (The post below is a little old so you'll now see a "Download" button next to "Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 7" as the Java version but the basic procedures are the same.):

Hope this helps.

Gif association issue?
by John.Wilkinson / July 3, 2006 9:36 AM PDT

I checked out and noticed that the animated signatures are all Gifs, as are the animated avatars in AIM. Thus, my suggestion would be to click here to download a gif association fix. (This assumes you're running Windows XP.)

Hope this helps,

Tunes972, Another thing to check is to go into Internet Options>Advanced tab and under "Multimedia" make sure that "Play animations in web pages" is checkmarked, click Apply/OK.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
