Question

I am looking for a nice laptop around $800US - $1200US

Apr 23, 2018 7:50AM PDT

I am looking for a laptop with these minimum requirements:
- Intel i5
- 4GB RAM that is upgradable
- dedicated graphics (MX150 would do)
- FHD display with good color accuracy
- has both USB type-A and USB type-C
- excellent keyboard

I am not a hardcore gamer, but I play League of Legends and plan to casually play Witcher 3, Elder Scrolls, etc. (not a fan of FPS games, though). I would also do lots of typing and some photo editing.

Answer
Sadly I have yet to find a review site that ranks on color

Since no site ranks on color accuracy I think you'll have to pick out your models then find review sites that do color testing (notebooktest.com does this.)

As to Witcher 3, sorry but I'm going to disagree the MX150 will do. Already hearing complaints from gamers on that GPU. My nod is to 1080p displays and the 1050 GPU or 1060.

PS. What my wife picked out.

It looks good and the reviews seem nice. I like it, but I'll wait for more suggestions before deciding.
