i am confused

alright ive been looking for an mp3 player but im confused. i have about 1.4 gigs of music [mp3 128kbps]. ive been looking at the rio nitrus but there were too many reviews with the hd failing so i didnt wana risk it. im also thinking of an mp3 cd player but it wont really hold all my music and i want all of it with me.. and i dont like there largeness. im also thinking of a flask player or a hi-md player. but flashplayers dont have much storage. some one help

what i really want is:
something within the price range of 0-180

something that can last at least 4 years

and something that can atleast hold half of my music

For me, the killer item is the 4 year requirement. The battery is going to fade at 18 to 36 months since this is the limit of the technology at the price people are willing to pay for. The hard disks are better than that, but will not survive those who drop the player to the pavement.

Also, you can kill a LiOn battery by exposing it to subzero temperatures.

Not that I have a grim outlook, but the lifespan is limited and its best we know this going in.

I would either go with the Creative Nomad MuVo with 1.5 GB or the Nitrus. If you dont drop the player or anything then they should last awhile.

though i am thinking of getting something powered by aa...maybe aaa...........but i take very good care of my things so i think i can take care of a l-ion for 4 years. but i dont think im gonna get a nitrus ....i just dont wanna risk it
