My setup is Windows7, 64 bit, Outlook 2003, Default Browser is IE8.
I recently had to uninstall Google Earth, download and re-install it. When I downloaded it again I failed to uncheck the Chrome browser option, so I uninstalled this as I do not use it.
Afterwards, I noticed that none of my email Hyperlinks would open, displaying the message: "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer". I have just reinstalled Chrome and they are ok again!
I can live with this obviously, but I do not want Chrome on my machine. Can anyone suggest what is going on here please, and how to overcome it? I am sure this will have happened to others too? Mal L.
