Hunting Guide Camcorder

Dec 17, 2010 1:53AM PST

Ok guys i hope I'm not asking for to much here, but,I do quite a bit of filming, but haven't really come across the camcorder, with all the spec's that a hunting guide needs,in my opinion.I've been using the Canon GL2 for some time now, love the video qualiy, but just wish it was smaller, as a hunting guide, you need a camcorder that's not big and heavy to carry around, i've been carrying the GL2 around my neck, insdie my coat, when the weather is bad or the temp get cold.So along with my binoculars, around my neck as well, its a burden, I guess if i had my own cameraman, I'd get the Canon XH A1, which I Love!!,but its on the big and heavy side . So I am thinking surely theres a camera out there that must be able to take its place, so heres what i'm looking for, 20X Optical zoom or more, OIS, to cover my nerves when getting to close to big moose! Good low Light camera, (as ya all know alot of animals move just before dark or in the early morning,) not big and bulky, and reasonable light.
I have seen some nice HD SD or Hard drive cameras, like the Panasonic HDC-HS60, or the Panasonic HDC-TM700, and a plus with these is you can take some real nice stills with it as well so thats 2 cameras in one.I've never used them, so I'm not sure how good they are.
Anyone with some help would be greatly appricated, very much so. Thanks
