Hungry Cod Swallows Coke Can Off Norway...

"OSLO, Norway (AP) - Things probably would have gone better without Coke for a codfish that swallowed a soda can.

Stig Skaar and his family in western Norway found a slightly dented but intact Coca-Cola can inside the stomach of the fish, media reported Friday...

The fish, caught in the waters off Norway's western coast, was long and skinny and weighed just a few pounds - far less than the 22 pounds a healthy cod of that length should weigh."

I'm assuming the fish couldn't or wouldn't eat because his stomach was 'full' all the time? Hey, wonder could a doctor implant a couple of can of Coke in a human stom .......... Aw no! Doesn't bare thinking about.

Bariatric Surgery...

The article stated that the fish was way under weight for its size because the can filled most of its stomach. I bet the fish was happy to get caught...

There is a procedure called Bariatric Surgery where they decrease the size of the stomach and/or bypass some of the plumbing. That would be similar to filling the stomach with a large coke can...
