Who is the lucky one being quoted by you? I'm sure it's not me.

It's not a quote. It's your own personal opinion. You want America to become like France. Joie de vivre, lunch with wine each day from 12:00 to 15:00. Enjoy!

"some of the left"? Care to share who or just one or more anonymous thinkers?

You don't believe me, tough. Try paying attention.
Bye.
..... at those who have expressed admiration for anything French.

It was obviously directed at those who claim that France or Europe are superior to the United States and that we should follow their example in Energy, Health Care, etc.
Please don't try to "interpret" what I say, as you do a very bad job of it.
between Health Care, Energy, etc on one side and the nightly behavior of (mostly) young jobless immigrants on the other side. Wouldn't it be possible to adapt the one and not the other?
As for energy in France, that's nuclear for a relatively big part.

economic stimulus plan to help bail out ailing French auto manufacturers but without government money. Car owners and their insurance companies foot the bill.
Isn't that near Dearborn? So, who is suspect for doing this in France?
Accuses Dems of Exploiting Threats
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/03/25/rep-cantors-richmond-campaign-office-shot-overnight/
Virginia Rep. Eric Cantor said Thursday that his Richmond campaign office has been shot at and that he's received "threatening e-mails" -- but at the same time the House minority whip accused top Democrats of trying to exploit the threats they've been receiving for "political gain."
Cantor said "a bullet was shot through the window" of his campaign office. The incident happened Monday, Fox News has learned, the latest in a rash of apparent threats and acts of intimidation against members of Congress. Most of the threats so far have been reported by Democrats, but Cantor -- the No. 2 Republican in the House -- is one of about 10 lawmakers who has asked for increased security protection, Fox News has learned.

Joe Scarborough this morning said (and I believe him) death threats against him and other Republicans were common whenever there were "big" bills being voted on. And of course certain members of the previous Administration were regularly hanged and burned in effigy, and at least once beheaded.
Strangely, the media never made much of a fuss about it, until now.
NOW that the Dems get threats...(not to be outdone)so DID the Reps, in the past
and the Dems are crybabies
Don't you find it strange that Stupak got threats when he was against the bill, and threats when he switched to for it, yet the MSM started covering the threats just when he switched to for it? I find that selective coverage to be worthy of note.
Nothing happened, everything is perfect, everyone's happy with healthcare bill.
I do believe some of it is lies, especially when many videos from various angles, all with open mikes, and following right alongside people, can't seem to record a single instance of what those people claim to have heard. THAT is what I call a LIE.
