But you can find tomes about humidity and speakers on the AVS Forums. So I'll skip to my thoughts. Move it to a less humid area. For me the family/living room is 10% lower than other rooms.
I don't consider phone/pad speakers all that great. I use headphones or speakers via wire or bluetooth if quality is required.

Over night, last night, it seems that my Samsung Galaxy tab s was in contact with my humidifer. The tablet charges a couple feet away from where we set our humidifier and it sat there all night. Today, while my wife was playing on the tablet she notices the tablet sounds muffled. It's really present when you play music or watch a movie. Our best guess is the humidifer was over humidifying the tablet speakers. Now, I've dealt with water and electronics before to varying degrees of success but I don't even know what to think of this, idk of maybe the tablet will dry out or the speakers could get permanently damaged from this. Currently I wrapped the tablet in paper towel and it's sitting in a bag, in lieu of a better idea that seemed like a reasonable choice. Anyone got any ideas what I might be looking at here. Thanks in advance.
