No OS mentioned so I can't offer any OS checks but try this.
Create a new user account and log into that new user. Try it again.

I have tried reinstalling Chrome, removing unnecessary extensions and scanning my pc for viruses. I've had this problem for two weeks now and I first noticed it when I restarted my laptop after it shut itself off (battery wasn't in and I accidentally pulled out the charger).
Now https only work for my e-mail and some login links. All the sites I visited (for exampel Facebook, last.fm, bandcamp) had the green lock (1st image) in the link, now all of them show a paper (2nd image) instead.
The biggest problem is that I frequently get a bunch of large green/red-ish squares (3rd image) in the tab I'm looking at if I close any other tabs.

How do I fix this? Without using extensions, because I shouldn't need them to get Chrome to work properly.
