Question

htaccess blanket redirecting instead of going to determined

Jul 31, 2018 11:13AM PDT

Hi

I am redirecting a domain to another and basically want to pass page to page but then have a catch-all that sends it to the new homepage.

The following htaccess seems to just blanket redirect everything to the homepage, what have I done wrong?

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On

# Redirect iasuk to iasservices
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^iasuk.org$ [NC,OR]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.iasuk.org$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://iasservices.org.uk/$1 [L,R=301,NC]
</IfModule>

Redirect 301 /media/16851/use_of_coi_in_uk_rsd_final_may_2009.pdf https://iasservices.org.uk/
Redirect 301 /home.aspx https://iasservices.org.uk/london/
Redirect 301 /C2B/faq/index.asp?CatID=1 https://iasservices.org.uk/
Redirect 301 /index.asp https://iasservices.org.uk/london/
Redirect 301 /module_images/Students https://iasservices.org.uk/tier-4-student-visa/
Redirect 301 /non-profit-fee-paying-service.aspx https://iasservices.org.uk/
