HT-Z320 keeps switching from D-IN to DVD

I've had the HT-Z320 for about 2 weeks and until today I haven't had any issues, it seems whenever I switch from my TV speakers to the HT-Z320 receiver, it pauses for 5 seconds on D-IN, I can hear sound through the speakers for about 2 seconds before the receiver automatically switches from D-IN to DVD/CD and tries to load a DVD (there is no DVD in the tray). When I hit the function button on the receiver back to D-IN, same things happens, pause, sound for 2 seconds and then it switches to DVD/CD and attempts to load a DVD thats not there. Any suggestions?
