Some myth appeared that GAMES would run slower with HT enabled. Since gamers are much like gold miners and will try anything, many disabled HT in the BIOS.
There's your answer. The BIOS SETTING for HT could be enabled. I've yet to see HT slow down a game.
I have a Pentium 4 506 processor and I recently ran 3DMark05. When I went to the system details of my computer i saw that one of the details was (This is a direct copy) "HyperThreadingTechnology Available - Disabled". I wasnt aware that my processor could do HyperThreading, and i'm wondering if this means that it can if i enable it, and if so how would i do that?
