I'm sorry to hear this. Have you tried resetting the television? Also, please make sure the firmware is completely up to date.

I've had the Samsung HT-E6500W Blu-Ray Sound System paired with my Samsung UN60ES8000F for a little over 3 years now.
I've always had it so that my TV was connected from the HT-E6500W and going into an HDMI port (not the ARC HDMI) in my television. I would load videos to watch on a USB Drive, plug it into my tv, and playback by choosing the "Source" as the USB Drive where the AnyNet+ Device would connect and then sound would come through the system.
Over the past week, when I've tried to complete the same action, I now get a message that states my AnyNet+ Device is not connected and to retry.
I haven't made any changes, I haven't updated any software recently on either device.
The only way I can get video's audio to play from my USB Drive is to plug it directly into my HT-E6500W's USB Port and select the AllShare option to choose/play the USB Drive.
I've searched around and can't find an answer that works. I've tried everything from leaving everything unplugged for an extended period of time to resetting my HT-E6500W. I've tried disconnecting the AnyNet+ Device and reconnected everything.
I see that I have a 3.5mm jack to go out from the TV to go into an RCA input in the back of the HT-E6500W, but I haven't had a chance to buy the cable to test. But, why would I need this now after 3 1/2 years of not having to do that? I feel like this still wouldn't ultimately determine what happened to my system.
Has anyone had a similar situation and found a remedy for it?
Thanks in advance.
