HT-C5500 BD Home theatre initial settings

My dad recently bought the C5500 and all was fine with his old TV. now hes bought a Samsung 6000 40" LED TV. all set up, using samsungs BD wise thingy, but everytime he turns on the BD player he has to go thru the initial settings everytime, ie screen size, network n audio setup. any idea why this is happening? its not saving the initial settings.

stubaynton,

Have you tried turning off BD-Wise? It can be disabled in the Blu-Ray's menu.

Also, try updating the firmware to see if that helps retain the network settings. If it's not able to keep the network settings, it may need to be exchanged or repaired.
