Have you tried resetting your cable/sat box to see if a reset does the trick? Often times, if you call the cable/sat service provider, they can install updates while you're on the phone to correct this issue.
If that still doesn't fix it, then I'd recommend having the unit serviced. You shouldn't have to remove HDMI inputs to get them to work after both units have been working previously.
The only other possibility would be to try a different HDMI cable. It's possible that the HDMI cable may have a syncing problem.
Keep me posted.
We have a fairly new HT-BD3252.
In the most part is works well, but for the price it is buggy.
Now we are having issues that the sound cuts out for no reason, or sound distorted. This seems to happen when playing from our DirectTV box using HDMI.
Any ideas? Bad HDMI cable?
Also if I pause the Playback on the directTv box for too long, when I go back I get nothing. I have to cycle the HDMI inputs from i to 2, then back to 1 to get sound working.
For the price this should NOT be happening.
Please tell me what to do to fix this issue.
