HT-BD1250 - Possible to downgrade to 2.20?

by HtomSirveaux / August 14, 2010 12:57 AM PDT

Made the mistake of "upgrading" my firmware from 2.20 to 2.31 when I was having no issues. Since then, our Clone Wars Season 1 set "freezes" when it is loading the menu. Same happens on each disc, yet everything else works fine. At this point, we have already cut back on our Blu-ray purchases as a result. It would be a gross understatement to say my wife is displeased with me for this. Is there any way at all to get 2.20 back?

HtomSirveaux,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue.

Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of 2.20. I'll be happy to send this up to the appropriate department.

Please do. I have just had the issue happen with Cop Out as well. freezes when done with previews and loading the main menu (the logo is a disc with a spinning red line). There goes a waste of a rental. Since they were both Warner Brothers title, I suspect this will happen with any recent Warner Brothers title (Dark Knight appears okay, but that one's older). This has now made the player even more worthless.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
