HP2000c upgraded to XP

I was able to upgrade my 2000c for use with XP but now I don't get the tool box and it doesn't give me low ink warnings. (I have two screwed up cartridge switches) I no longer can reset the cartridges to allow printing. Hope to get the repair kit next month, but currently have jobs to print. HELP!

Something sounds broken and a call to HP may be required.

I read your post twice and it sounds as if you are trying to drive on some flat tire?

Repair kit for HP2000c

Installed the repair kit in less than 30 minutes and now printer is working like new. Wish some of my other HP products did as well.

" two screwed up cartridge switches " and such means you'll have to wait for the parts to arrive as well. I don't see how I can help with this.
