hp wired network printer install

I have a home ethernet network with an hp 8600 printer installed. All win7 and linux computers on the lan use the printer perfectly. When I try to install it as a printer on an xp computer xp can't search for it and find it. or search by it's ip address and find it. The printer broadcasts a web page on its ip address and that shows up fine. Do I need a special driver or something to install this as a printer on the xp computer?

I found the right drivers on the HP website and they worked fine. Thanks.
