To declare this is a monitor issue we have to use another monitor to check this out. I read your post twice and you maintain it's the monitor but it sounds to me as if the PC has issues or the monitor cable is unplugged or on the wrong connection.
As a test try another monitor and this monitor on a good PC.
Bob
I have a w2207 monitor which is in sleep mode on its own. I did not put it to sleep.
I have tried all the steps from the HP web site and also tried from internet forums, and the monitor is still in sleep mode.
I cannot see anything on it other than the message "monitor going to sleep".
The computer is on, worked on this same monitor before.
The monitor came out of the sleep mode once, when I turn it on and presses the windows key in keyboard. When I restarted computer again, monitor went back to sleep. The same step is not working on it anymore. The problem continues.
If anyone out there is able t help me to resolve this, please do it so. I need to go back to work in this monitor ASAP.
Thank you
