HP Support

I work for a computer company. I bought a system from HP (ok at wally world) . Tech support is a hoot!

System is less than 2 weeks old..sound has died. Dealing with English as a second language "techs" has been a delightful nightmare.

Buy a Fujitsu..if it has a problem...ask for Cindy...I will give you the moon!

go to work for HP. Wink I am sorry about your lack of support. Mine is 2 months old and my experience with phone support has been pretty good. Their chat support is their weakest link and email support not a lot better. I would send an email and try to get a phone call from the Advanced Support Group; these guys, while in India, are pretty savvy..

Good to me...

I've been using HPs for over a decade, and like the progression of tech support. Just a few years ago HP didn't have an online chat service, and e-mail support was almost non-existent. The only way to contact them was to call them...long distance, not toll-free, between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

While I haven't used their phone support recently, I've had no problems using their other support avenues. I only have to wait for a minute or two using their chat support, and usually receive a response within two hours if I send them an e-mail. I've chatted with support personel from the Middle East and Asia many times (could tell by their names), but never had a ''communication barrier'' with them...unlike those from other companies. If I had to make a complaint, it would be that all of their reps were too nice...thanking me for simply providing my model number.

If your problem still isn't resolved, feel free to create a new thread and post the details of the issue...someone should be able to help you find the solution.

Hope this helps,
John

P.S. You mentioned that if I call you for support, you'll give me the moon...is there any chance I can trade that in for a Stylistic
