HP Quickplay help

Oct 1, 2007 12:44PM PDT

I will admit first and foremost: I know very little about computers. I can use one. That's about it.

That being said, I have an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC, dv9000, Intel Core Duo CPU, T2250 @ 1.73 GHz, 1022 MB, 32-bit OS, with a webcam/mic built in. I'm trying to use Hp Quickplay to get the webcam to record video, but I came across a problem where the video was recording faster than the audio, or it was recording fine but playing back faster... anyway, a friend sent me a link for a patch to fix it, but it just messed up Quickplay even more on my laptop, so I completely uninstalled the entire program and reinstalled it - and now it doesn't even open. I need help!! I assume it has something to do with me using Vista, because anytime a program screws up with this laptop its because I use Vista. Please tell me there's a way to fix it.

If anyone can help me, or needs more info, or can recommend a different program to record video, I'd be in your debt! Thank you!!
