Getting an error message: Oxc19a0020 saying ink system failure. We are using all OEM hp cartridges in the printer. Never have used any noname inks. We have removed and installed all the color inks and the black ink to no avail. Anyone out there with some help would be appreciated. Bill

First off, what is your operating system? If windows Vista it could be that you need to update the drivers from HP solutions and support. I could be a hardware issue but having seen these types of errors before, often times it is a software glitch. Also, if you have all of the current software, did you try to uninstall (software) and reinstall?

"Accepted Answer
The first message means your ink absorber needs to be replaced. The second message could be caused by the same problem so I would try replacing the ink absorber and then clean all the contacts on the cartridge and inside the printer. Reseat the cartridges and test the machine. If the second problem is still there either the carriage assmbly or the print head needs to be replaced."

The brutal truth here is that one thing is cheap. The second thing means you won't fix this.
