HP Pavillion grahics card crashing radeon 6850

the computer shows vertical lines when i boot it up and then when i log in to my account theres a black screen a blue screeen for a short second then a black screen it only works on safe mode unless i go to safemode and uninstall the graphics drivers thats the only way i can use it in the regular mode but when i try to reinstall it it reinstalls but when i reset it its back to the vertical lines and crashing how do i fix this please help:robotfrustrated:

The lines on boot up would have me swapping in a video card.

Looks like you get to swap cards or take it to those that repair it for you. There are other reasons for oddities but my take on your post is the PSU was upgraded when the video card was put in. Almost all Pavilions would need this.
