My HP Pavilion ZV 5000 notebook doesn't start. When I turn it on it just bring blue vertical and horizontal lines and I can't access my Operating system. I have Windows XP on it. Can anyone help me please?

I pull the AC, the battery and wiggle what connections I can access. Then the battery goes back in and then the AC. If it fails, then it needs a service shop.

The list for me is short, ikenfixit.com, notefix.com and hp.com

Check on external monitor to verify whether or not the video is garbled there as well.. ( I didnt quite understand his descript Bob)? Looks like he's having video problems?..? Let us know... Do you mean theres video but all lines? Or no power at all?
