Alright so here's the story. Got laptop from guy, said didn't power on, could have it if i wanted it. Took it apart, all that was wrong was power switch, so i fixed that, works fine. Unfortunately i was careless at putting the screen cable back in and bent on of the tiny hair-like pins on the board, i bent it back just fine and the cable goes on good, but now the screen on the lap top does NOT work, it turns on but not video signal, just white (can adjust brightness too). I can connect an external screen and it works great, but kinda makes the laptop useless, lol. Any ideas what needs to be replaced? Screen Cable or inverter where my best guesses. Please help!
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
