HP Pavilion Laptops

I have 3 HP Pavilion laptops and 1 HP desktop. I have had problems with all of them. I blamed Microsoft, but now realize that it is more likely HP. I just bought an HP Pavilion DV7. Every time I played a video I got blue screen of death. After 12 hours of dealing with technical support I found myself needing to reformat the computer. After doing that I started getting blue screen of death every 4 hours or so. I will never recover the hours of my life lost to this issue. I am now dealing with technical support again, and they may want me to mail it in. For anyone that doesn't have time to have their $2,400 laptop be a paper weight for weeks at a time should buy another brand of computer.

I also started having blue screen of death on my desktop (5 years old, so more understandable), but also have an HP Vista laptop and an XP HP laptop. All have been less than stellar. I didn't realize this until I bought a Sony Vaio Z, and a Sony Vaio desktop due to all my HPs being in the shop. Both Sonys offer an infinitely better experience than my HPs ever did. I am converting over to Sony as my standard, and I will not buy HP any more.
