This forum is "where you can raise issues about unfair practices by technology companies,
call out misleading advertisements, and talk with other users and CNET editors about these issues." I don't think that's the case here.
My HP Pavilion Laptop died when being used. It was connected to mains supply. Adapter has checked out ok with a multimeter. It cannot be restarted. Running Windows XP. It is 5 years old, but only has occasional use as I also have a desktop. Any suggestions of what could be wrong? Thank you.
