HP Pavilion f1703 - blackout problem - UK support

Feb 7, 2006 3:17AM PST

I to have been having problems with the f1703 with blacking out, sometimes it will come back for a while or keep disappearing.
I have seen many posts for contacting HP, but these seem to be all in the USA. Has anyone an email address for contacting someone in the UK.

Thank you.

HP Pavilion f1703 lcd monitor

I too have had intermittant black-outs on my monitor and am in the U.K. I phoned tel. no. 0870 010 4320 which is HP's UK number. Unfortunately you will be relayed to a call centre in India-but do not despair! It does work. Monitors with serial nos. beginning with CNC and manufacture dates from October 2003 to June 2004 have an extended warranty period - I believe up to 27 months from date of purchase. HP are well aware of potential black-out problems and will usually replace your faulty monitor free of charge.Service Source Europe in Warrington Cheshire act as the replacement agents in the UK but they must first recieve their authority from the call centre number mentioned. Good Luck
