If you want to catch up on the dv6000 and 9000 issues, type DV9000 RECALL on google. If yours is on the list then call in and ask for them to at least prorate the repair if you didn't get it in on time.
If it is not on the list, they are still failing and you GENTLY FIRMLY ask for a prorated repair since we know what it is.

My above computer won't boot up. The model number is hp pavilion dv9000 and the serial number is cnf6402szy.
I tryed to shut down after leaving it on Firefox all night and it woudn't shut down. So rebooted my wireless (sometimes that helps) still would not shut down. So I did the usual control/alt/delete. Nothing. So finally I did a hard shut down. When I went to restart all I got was the lights on the keyboard that went on and off, no screen. You can feel some vibration as if something is happening as the lights go on and off. Help.
