HP Pavilion dv2109nr Motherboard specs/Processor Upgrade?

Hi everyone reading this! I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can find specifications of the motherboard to my HP Pavilion dv2109nr laptop? Seems I can't find the information anywhere on the Internet yet! I would like to upgrade the processor, if possible. Right now I have an Intel Core Solo T1350 1.86GHz. I just want to know what the limit in the processor would be. Hopefully I can put a Intel Core Duo in. Mostly I want to put a Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz. Happy Thanks!

How to research this.

Sorry, you do the work. But here's how I've done this in the past.

1. What CHIPSET is the machine using? Look for things like Intel i945
2. Find that CHIPSET on
3. Read what CPUs are compatible with said chipset.
4. Look at over dv2100 machines and see what CPUs they used.

And no, there is NO document on the internet to help you. And yes, you could call HP but there will likely be a support charge for this.

Virtualization Technology

In reply to: HP Pavilion dv2109nr Motherboard specs/Processor Upgrade?

If I upgrade the processor to a Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz. Will I be able to use the virtualization technology on the Pavilion dv2109nr? I know there is no option for it in the BIOS. But maybe if I upgrade to that processor the virtualization technology will be on? I plan on using this laptop for Windows 7 and XP Mode. Happy
