Or maybe the HP website.
Usually, beep codes are generated for Bad memory, bad CPU, Bad video card, and possibly overtemperature, if the system had been on for more than 15 seconds or so.
Lets see if Robert hits at the same time. LOL
When I turn on the HP Pavilion a365c I get 5 sec continous beep. One by one I removed components. When I removed a cable label P7 the beep stopped and the computer seemed like it when through the boot process. however the monitor still does not display anything.
does anyone know what cable P7 is for (power for some device)?
Also does anyone know what this problem could be.
I rather not take it to the geek squad at best buy. Yet.
