I have a macbook with 10.5.8 os, and an hp officejet 6500 E709n all in one wireless printer. My macbook connected wirelessly with no problems until I added an additional canon printer. When the new printer was added my hp was deleted somehow, it no longer was an option under the printer fax section.
Connected my macbook directly to hp printer it was then listed under printer fax along with the canon printer. If the printer is connected directly to printer I can print but once disconnected and I try to print wirelessly I get the message that the printer is offline and there is a connectivity issue. I have powered everything off(printer, router and macbook), deleted all printers then added the hp again by connecting directly to printer. Still giving the same offline/connectivity issue messages. Also the printer will work wirelessly with another laptop. Sorry for so much information but I want to be sure I have covered all bases. TIA.
