HP Mobile Express Card Remote in HP dv9000t

by tech_fantatic / April 8, 2007 10:14 AM PDT

Does anyone know if this is included with the laptop. It looks like it is in the included features, but I wasn't sure if it actually was the one that goes in the Express card slot.

I talked with HP for over an hour today and the representative, literally, gave me 18 different answers for whether or not it was included. She said everything from the remote being seperate, included, not compatibile, then it was comptabile, then she said the only reason it was listed in the included features was so that customers knew it was comptabile with the laptop, then she went on to say it was the full size remote that is option to add on, and so forth. So, it wasn't much help.

If anyone knows, that would be great. I'd like to order everything at once, but don't want to order it again if it comes included.

Thanks again!

HP puts this in the PC-Card slot and now with the Express card models they use the Express card slot. Hope this helps.

That's what I was thinking

I'd thought they had been including it in most models and I would think they would with the better models as well.

But, by the time I finished with the rep, I was so confused I didn't know what I was thinking anymore. I could have started a chat with someone and answered more questions, and that's not saying much.

Thanks agian!
