I have a HP LaserJet 1100A parallel printer which I am trying to connnect to a Dell Dimension E510 which only has a USB connection. Have tried Best Buy, Comp USA, etc, with no luck, to locate a new cable connection. Any suggestions?

Thanks, I opened the links and selected one of the cable suppliers. I will give them a call and see if I selected the correct cable before I order. Thx
I am in the U.S.
Yes, I've found such. I supplied links and am guessing you don't want to order said device. I have no indication what country you are in, but the cable is rarely stocked anymore.

I have the HP Laser Jet 1100A Printer, model C4224A, serial number FRHR333564, and need to connect this printer to my new laptop, a DELL Inspiron 1525. I need a cable to connect my printer to the USB port on the laptop. Is there a cable available for me to do this, if yes how do I order one? I am not sure if my printer is a parallel printer or not?
Can you please advise me on both of these questions?
Thank you.
You find that there is no driver for the 1100A printer for Windows 7 today. But it will print "HP LaserJet, Color LaserJet and LaserJet MFP Products - Product Support for Microsoft Windows 7
Category 3 - Windows 7 print driver available
LaserJet model specific printer drivers are currently available within the Windows 7 operating system. Installation of these drivers can be performed via Devices and Printers , formerly known as the Add Printer Wizard .
NOTE: If the model specific driver that you are looking for does not appear in the list of available printers, clicking the Windows Update button underneath the list of available printers may provide additional drivers to choose from. Requires opt-in to Microsoft Windows Update and internet connection.
For Multifunction and All-In-One LaserJet products, your product may have additional scan and fax software available at www.hp.com .
HP wants to make sure you have the most up-to-date information on the drivers and software for your HP products. Click here to register for HP Subscriber?s Choice. You will be notified when additional drivers become available."
