Is your HP BIOS F.1C working for your laptop still?
I just upgraded to F.3D for my dv6305 and that didn't cure anything.
I'll probably start using an USB WLAN adapter.
HP Wireless Failure - there are thousands of posts on many forums by people who have hp laptop computers running microsoft vista, where the wireless connection begins to fail or fails altogether. Suggested fixes have included motherboard replacement, wireless chip replacement, microsoft vista replacement and none of these actions fixes the problem.
the answer is the HP BIOS, BIOS, BIOS.
The wireless starts to fail with HP BIOS F.1D, and goes completely mad with HP BIOS F.1E and permanently fails.
If you need to fix this problem download HP BIOS F.1C. the HP Wireless Assistant will now open and you can enable the wireless with the front panel switch. this also fixes other problems, such as the external monitor going blank.
i have been working on this problem for about 4 months now and none of the proposed fixes coming from hp or other forums permanently fixes this problem.
when HP eventually upgrades to BIOS F.1F to fix this problem don't jump on the band wagon until you know it is not on fire. many people are fed up with hp's response to this issue and now you know why!
