Here's how I think I would research this:
https://www.google.com/search?q=Hp+G60-447CL&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=hp+g60-447cl+service+manual
I think I see a service manual and YouTubes on this work. I cannot guide you on this work as you must take responsibility for your work.
Hello, either my backlight or inverter has gone out on my HP G60-447CL notebook. I have already ordered and recieved a new inverter which i wanted to try first since it was on $3.00. I have the general idea of how to change it by taking out 2 screws near the base of the screen on either side. Then carefully popping the bezel off. My problem is reaching the 2 screws. I bend the screen as far back as it will go and can rfeach the screws with my pocket screwdriver but i am at such an angle that it will surely strip out the the head. I have searched the web for a video with no luck. Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you.
