HP DIGITAL MEDIA ARCHIVE

Can someone please tell me why I keep getting a popup window with the subject above indicating the following and how to remove it:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'EZARC.msi' in the box below."
c:\hp\tmp\src\

HP DigitalMedia Archive Pop-Ups while installing software

I have the same problem once I try to install a software disc for a Canon Rebel XSi camera. I get a window titled HP DigitalMedia Archive: saying = The feature you are trying to use etc...same as above. I clicked to cancel that window but it was followed by another window saying "An installation package for the product HP DigitalMedia Archive cannot be found. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package 'EZARK.msi'
I have an XP Media Center HP Pavilion a1610n computer with SP2. It's an AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core 2.2 GHz and 448 MB of RAM. How do I install the software without getting these pop-ups?
