HP Deskjet 932C pulling back first page of print job

Oct 8, 2008 2:43PM PDT

Whenever I try to print from the 932C, the first page comes out fine. However, the printer will pull that first page back, often to the point of wrinkling it, or even keeping the next page from coming out. When the next page is obstructed, I do get a flashing red light; other times, that first page just ends up very wrinkled, with no flashing light.

What can I do to prevent this?

First thing to try is to uninstall and then reinstall the software, once in a while errors occur, corrupted files, etc. Do you get any type of error message(s)? If you do you may have been gotten to by something such as a worm or virus.

Nope

I uninstalled and then reinstalled, but there was no change--the first page gets printed just fine, then gets caught in the back when the second page gets printed.

There are no error messages (and almost always) no light flashing.

On that 1st page does it actually fall into the exit tray? Was a earlier problem maybe a paper jam before this issue arose? Answer these questions, maybe a clue.

Hi, I've recently been experiencing the same problem. Did you find a solution for this?

Thanks,
