That was my last HP. I can't imagine the anguish this could cause folk.
Beware when you buy HP laptop
I had a streak of burnt pixel. The laptop was under warranty so I sent to HP.
They rejected the claim and said it was customer induced damage and wanted 300+ dollars. I escalated the issue and got to talk to Christopher Sanchez - my case Manager. He said he has proof and pictures but he cannot share as it is company confidential.
In summary, HP would not share pictures nor this provide basis of their assessment other than checking a box on a piece of pre-printed assessment.
Mr Sanchez that he will escalate and the meantime he ordered shipment or return of laptop. That shows he did have any intention otherwise he would have hold back the return back the return of laptop by a day or two
I am stuck with the defect and HP would tell you the basis of assessment and they hide behind company confidential and they we will fix the at lap top at 50% off their quote.
So be ware when you buy HP products your warranty may be worthless and it is your word against HP.
