Update on my problem
Feb 5, 2010 8:25AM PST

It also does this when I am just using the copy part of my all in one printer/scanner/copier. So its just not being able to print something from a website its also not being able to copy something and printing that. It just pauses during printing or copying (prints, pause etc.)

Since the copy function don't use the PC.

You've confirmed it's the printer. Plan for it to fail eventually.

HP 4280 issues
Feb 6, 2010 12:32AM PST

It is possible that it is a spooling error (it could be other issues as well) But it sounds like spooling. Go to HP SPOOLING ERROR FIXES, there were some issues with some of the all in one units and there may be a patch you could download to fix the problem.

All consumer all in one models tend to be
Feb 8, 2010 8:51PM PST

2 year "rentals."

This is something many have a hard time understanding. To get the prices down the designs have short lives. About 2 years on average with some failing earlier or later.

If the 2 year rental plan doesn't suit you, don't buy the consumer models. Try the office models. But that doesn't do much other than get you a few more years.

Before go to any new one,try to check it with other computer. And if you still want to go for new one, then you can prefer lexmark. It is available in many model with good price. So you can go for it.
