HP 1703 Monitor with a osd menu problem.

My hp 1703 monitor osd menu window has popped up and won't go away. No one was touching the buttons. It seemed to start right after an update for McAfee downloaded and installed not sure if this was the trigger or not. I noticed that several others had the same problem but no one gave a fix for it. I am on a HP 246c Pavillion system with XP home edition.
