HP

I Built my own computer but bought a HP for my husband. (I used to be a hard core Compaq user and had 3 in the past). Out of the box-one of the PCI slots did not work on the motherboard. I wouldn't have held it against them until I had to deal with their Tech support. The main issue started with the modem didn't work. I didn't want to open it because I hadn't even owned for a day yet. Fixed it myself and swore never to buy another HP/Comaq. The reason I had always bought Compaq was because of their Tech Support. They were better than good. They even LISTEN to you. HP just run the list and tune you out. HP wants to make the $$ and then forget your a customer.
