Question

How would I find help creating a web site?

I had an idea for a web site. It's essentially a world of sports that ties in a few different web sites criteria, but makes it a one-stop shop. There would be every thing from articles, salary cap information, opinions, message boards, etc. What it makes it specifically unique is there would be a social media aspect where you have an avatar that you would create and have walk around to do different things. Some of the options would include all different kinds of gambling (betting on sports), casinos (poker, etc.) and fantasy sports. The thing is that instead of betting actual cash (which is illegal in a lot of areas), you would bet play money and with that you could buy your avatar different items (such as your teams favorite jersey for him to wear and access to different message boards, etc.).

The thing is that while my passion for sports could help make the content elite and the environment addicting and fun for the fans that experience the site, I have 0% of knowledge on how to create such a thing on the coding/tech end of things. I was wondering where I would go to find some one that could help with such a big project with such specific needs. If you could, please let me know.

There are no code systems that take you to a point.

This sounds like a MMORPG which is beyond the no code systems. There are boards like Daniweb.com that have a for hire section.

Answer
with no experience - forget it

with what you are wanting to include in the site, there is absolutely no way for anyone with zero experience to create one - even with help. This is no matter the software package you may find or will advertise later in this thread. If anyone says they have something, it is a scam.

You can find all kinds of open source bulletin boards, blogs etc that can help and are easy to setup without experience, you will not find one that will do everything you want.

entered before its time

forgot to say

if there is a college or university close by, you may find some student who can do it for you as a class project or just to build their own portfolio. If you hire, it will cost thousands for someone to do what you are wanting.
