Question

How to view the recordings of Samsung TV in computer?

Aug 24, 2018 5:36AM PDT

I recorded a show in Samsung smart TV, I was able to view the video in TV but how can I view that recording in a computer

These files were inside the pendrive

I've also created a link for the files

Your link shows only 3 files, totalling 4 MB. That's not a full show, that's the size of a 4 minute mp3 music file. So for the moment the answer is: you can't.

Why did you think you could? What does the user manual say about copying recorded video's? Most often it can't be done, since it's encoded in a TV-specific way.

But the files are not only encrypted but in a lot of Samsung TVs they used the XFS (file system.)

Windows doesn't use that file system so you can't see the recordings in Windows. Besides that, the recordings are encrypted so they only play on your TV. REPEAT. You can't play them on another Samsung as the files are keyed to just your TV.

This is well discussed and so far has not been cracked.
